Beirut airport partially opens, and the Lebanese troops deploy in South

The Lebanese troops along with tanks and armored vehicles have moved today to the south, in particular South Litani river. This move that has been waited for since almost 40 years, and finally it had happened. Hopefully the fears that have been for sending the troops to the border are no longer valid.

As for the blockage on the Lebanese Air, has been partially lifted to allow commercial flights only from and to Amman. The airport has been closed since July 13, 2006.

This is an article about a website set up to report victim's experiences, photos and videos. www.mmseyewitness.com will collect all photos and text, it is flagged on a map by location, by type of attack (civilian, infrastructure, commercial, governement, etc). If enough people contribute, we plan to submit the electronic record to the U.N. human Rights Commission war crimes inquiry.

Please help us help you so justice will be done for once.
