Lebanese Army calls for reserve

الجيش اللبناني يستدعي الى الخدمة الاحتياط الذي لم تمضِ على تسريحه 5 سنوات

The Lebanese army calls for reserve soldiers who have been laid off in the past 5 years.

Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Saniora said Lebanon stands ready to deploy 15,000 soldiers and accept a 2,000-member international force led by the UN Interim Force in Lebanon, or UNIFIL, until a political settlement can be worked out and a more substantial international peacekeeping force can be assembled and deployed to Lebanon.

"This can be done quickly," he said.

I think that it is a very good idea that the Lebanese army are being sent to the borders, this is very good news, and today they said that Olmert welcomes this idea, even the arabs have agreed with Sanyoura for this, and I think it's the first step for a cease-fire.
